Whistleblowing

In order to ensure the effectiveness of the whistleblowing system, in accordance with the provisions of Legislative Decree 24/2023, B2G Sicily has established its own internal system for managing reports which may concern:

  • Violations of B2G Sicily’s Model 231 and the procedures implementing it;
  • Violations of the corporate Code of Ethics and/or internal regulations;
  • Any violation capable of causing damage or harm, even if only to the Company’s image or reputation;
  • Administrative, accounting, and criminal wrongdoings of which the Reporter has become aware;
  • Relevant unlawful conduct under Decree 231 and violations of models 231;
  • Violations of European regulations regarding food safety, public health, consumer protection, protection of privacy and personal data, network and information system security;
  • Violations of competition and State aid regulations.

Through the whistleblowing platform, employees, suppliers, and third parties, stakeholders in relation to B2G Sicily’s activities within a contractual (or pre-contractual) relationship with B2G Sicily, can submit detailed reports; the system ensures the confidentiality of the reporters’ identities, other individuals involved, and the content of the reports.

It is understood that the whistleblowing platform cannot be used to make unfounded accusations.
